Spent the last couple days putting in a new brick walkway for the bestie. He had half the brick already and Home Depot had the brick in stock 2 months ago. But when we went to get the rest of what we needed yesterday they no longer carry it. So we pivoted. Frustrated but still came out ok.

While working on my hubby’s office upgrade, I had to run up and down the stairs about 50 times…. I noticed the wear in the stairs carpet is very distinctly alternating right and left. Apparently we both tread the stairs in the exact same pattern! Oh well… new flooring in the spring!

I redecorated (new furniture) in my hubby’s office for Christmas… now because he couldn’t wait once I told him! I think it turned out great. Forgot to take before pics… but the last pic is his old desk before I took it apart.

Hubby’s home from Lisbon today so I’m a happy camper! We were busy all day… early lunch, house chores, new fishes, shopping on Amazon for new end tables and new office furniture. Planning a trip to NYC in Dec for his next job. Got tickets for a show… now time for a hot soak! Whew 😅

Wednesday: 10/10 I just finished S2 and I loved it. This is a PERFECT show. Dark, funny, and a little naughty. G Christie and J Linley were amazing and I loved the cameo by Lady Gaga. The only misstep in this entire show is the casting of L Guzman as Gomez! He has no suave flair needed.

I love seeing all these posts about fall camping… meanwhile it’s 102° here in Austin! 😩

And they say people don’t dress for the theater anymore… Fantastic Four was very good… 8/10 Vanessa Kirby was a standout! Pascal was a little flat though I liked that they were trying to portray Reed on the spectrum. Very good pacing. The baby cgi was a little weak but didn’t bother me.
