Got an amazing ancient warhammer model from an older hobby friend of mine, one of the old Metal Dreadnoughts. It's basically a bludgeoning weapon. Can't wait to work on him. I think I'll preserve the Dark Angels scheme but obviously do my own job on it.

"how I learned to stop worry and just aggressively brush raw paint onto terrain" This has taken me like 15 minutes. Just taking a bit of paint from the pot and basically dry brushing it on. Amazing for just getting colors onto huge models

For some reason I've struggled for years to figure out colors for storm shields for my space wolves but finally clicked after some googling and realizing my old wolf guard had some I'd literally already painted. It works.
