I hate when I order a rideshare and they pull up in a Tesla. Those cars give me motion sickness. I’ve never had that with any other vehicle but when I get in them I immediately feel like I am gonna puke.

Finally getting back into dancing after a 3yr hiatus and I’d forgotten how much I loved it and the community. It’s definitely different in this 40yo body though 😩

We still haven’t canceled daylight savings time yet??? I’m not ready for it to start getting dark so early.

Who knew hummingbirds were great pollinators? They’ve been in my cucumber flowers so much lately I haven’t had to hand pollinate myself. Im loving all the new cucumbers popping up. I live downtown on an upper floor so I don’t get pollinators very often but it looks like the hummingbirds took over. 🌱

I delayed the flowering to the strengthen the plant and so far I haven’t had to stake them even on the windy days. With all these flowers I’m about to have an abundance of bell peppers. 🌱

Persian cucumbers plus a new fertilizer routine has resulted in my first successful cucumber plant. I’ve harvested 4 and have more growing. The plant is actually still really healthy. In the past by now the plants were diseased and malnourished. Switching to potash and kelp was a game changer 🌱

Look at them now I basically have a little tree lol. I have hundreds of tomatoes. I keep thinning out the side branches and leaving the suckers which turn into more tomatoes. They’ve started to bush out instead of up which I like because this is already so tall. 🌱

It’s so satisfying to be able to pluck things right off the plant when you feel like eating them. I rarely do full harvests I just grab what I need (and a little snack lol) 🌱

I Love when random garden tips actually work. Something was eating my lettuce and I saw on a blog that bay leaves were a good deterrent. 2 weeks later after laying bay leaves all over I’ve not had a single lettuce leaf eaten since. Way better and easier than the neem oil. 🌱

Chat also told me that the level of detail I gave and the way my dream progresses was more aligned with a memory than a dream.

It’s such a different type of dopamine hit to go outside and see your garden thriving. Had a bit of a slow start this season but now everything is in full bloom and looking delicious. 🌱

To my fellow obsessed gardeners: How many times a day do you go check on your garden? I work remote so I’m out there every hour like 🌱👀 to if anything has changed 🤣🤣

To me the hardest part about growing in pots is not being able to find the kind of trellis I want. Managed to piece this together for my tomatoes to grow into 🌱

Joy for me is turning on a great playlist while I dance around and play in the garden. Trying to stay sane in a chaotic world.

I was right. My hair is 90% dry now. Curls are nice and poppin, hydrated, and defined without a trace of flaking. I’ll Definitely be using this combo again.

When you do a product test to make sure that your new hair products play well together and they turn clear while mixing 👏🏾👏🏾 oh yeah my curls are gonna love this combo.

Salads with ingredients from my garden hit differently. This was absolutely Delicious!! I pickled the veggies in a strawberry rosé vinegar for a few hours first then mixed a little honey and oil to make a dressing with it. I will definitely be making it this way again.

When I was 11 my mom called up to the school to tell me and my sister that she was going to Vegas for the weekend, that she left pizza money on the table, and that she’d be back Sunday. We were often unsupervised growing up.

Those all day strategy meetings are killer. It’s barely 8:15 and I’m ready to crash but I know if I do I’ll be wide awake at 2 so I’m trying to hold off a little longer 😩

Times like this make me so glad I have a projector in my room. Watching #Sinners with the different aspect ratios in 4K on my wall feels like I’m back at IMAX. I’m gonna watch this movie a million times!!!

It wouldn’t be gardening without a garden mystery. I planted pepper seeds that I got out of a grocery store pepper just for fun but what’s growing is not a pepper plant. None of the image searches and plant apps agree on what this is. All I know is that the pepper was likely an F1 hybrid. 🌱

A friend of mine has a community garden and they have struggled with cucumbers too so I don’t feel as bad about my failed attempts lol. I wonder if it’s just our local environment because everything else grows without issues. 🌱

Currently on attempt number 6 with my cucumbers. This time I’m trying Persian cucumbers. Fingers crossed I manage to get a few 🌱

For my Gardners: what’s something from your garden that you’ve tried to grow but it has remained on your fail list even with multiple attempts? For me it’s cucumbers the most I’ve gotten is 4 and I’ve attempted growing them 5 different times and 3 different varieties. 🌱

I am beyond grateful to have my sister as my best friend💕💕. We text all day and can be on the phone for hours talking about everything and never repeat a topic. Not everyone has that close of a friendship with their siblings

It’s officially my favorite season, Salad season!! Some days I eat like shit but the side salad from my garden balances it out and then I don’t feel bad about it 😂😂🌱

Just saw it in IMAX 70MM again. If they did another release I would absolutely go again.

My lettuce box is coming along nicely! By this time next week I might be able to start making salads 🌱

Potatoes really are my favorite thing to grow because even with extreme neglect I manage to get potatoes 😂 As long as I make a nutrient dense soil I’m guaranteed results. I Always have a bag of potatoes growing. 🌱

Nearly a month after planting my pepper seeds have finally started sprouting. The weather is finally consistently warm enough now. My 2nd generation seeds saved from a pepper I grew in 2022. 🌱

My boss, his peer, and their boss are all out of office today. It’s the quietest Friday for me in ages and I love that for me. Happy Friday y’all!

My friend and I did the trend where you ask AI based on past convos what it thinks your ideal partner would be and then ask for a picture. Mine was spot on and the man it created is attractive. My friend’s result was all wrong and it gave her a pic of a woman that looks like her…she’s straight. 😩😂😂

Just found out my team was nominated for an award and we actually won! On top of that I got another separate nomination for Q2 but I won’t know for another month or so if I won that one. Not sure why all the recognition is happening all of a sudden but I’ll take it.

Looking at a plane ticket and it costs $4049 for regular purchasers but on my portal it’s $2291 for the exact same seat.

One of the craziest things I learned when I started making good money is that people with money have access to Way better discounts and perks. Which is funny because they could afford to pay more but they don’t.

Promotion started this week. Every time I see the new title I have a tiny proud moment dance. I have come so far in my career despite many who told me early on that I’d never get far and should be grateful for scraps since I didn’t have college education.

Just got back from seeing Sinners and it was insanely good. Absolutely phenomenal storytelling, acting, music, set design, costumes, everything. I Definitely want to see it again! I am so glad that I saw it in IMAX 70MM

My hyper fixation salad has Persian cucumbers, bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, carrots, shallots, avocado, and a light dressing(ginger, salt, tbsp honey, oil). It is absolutely delicious and I’ve made it 6 times in the last two weeks.

I don’t know why my hyper fixation foods always end up being healthy foods but I appreciate it because it’s speeding up my hibernation weight shedding

Started getting lazy with my hair and it turned out to be the best thing, go figure. I wash every 7-10 days still but lately I just blow it out and let it be. No styling, no wash and go, no protective styles, and only a heatless wave when I’m feeling fancy 😂. My length retention has been crazy.

Just finished watching #G20 and I really enjoyed the movie. I’ll definitely be watching it again.

I hate when I fall in love with a dress and it doesn’t come in any other colors 😭 I would absolutely buy this dress 100 times over if it was in other colors.
