#WeeknightWriters Tanya's the only character inspired by other characters in media. Rita's based a lot on myself. Danny, Felicity, and Lexi feel like original characters to me, not inspired by anyone in particular.

#WeeknightWriters Rita being demisexual means that she and Danny take their time to get to know each other. Prepping for Lexi and Felicity's wedding is the whole plot of the novel since they're not going to have a church wedding.
