Sonic Transmissions Festival is back! Returning September 11-14, 2025, we take over multiple venues across the city with a bold lineup of visionary artists pushing the boundaries. This year’s festival once again champions fearless creativity with the slogan: “SHAKE YOUR APATHY!”

Another incredible performance from the New York tenor saxophonist @jamesbrandonlewis, hailed as “one of the fiercest sounds in jazz today” by The Guardian, and @chadedwardtaylor, one of the most prolific drummers playing with some of the modern improvised music’s most influential musicians.

In 2020 due to pandemic we livestreamed the festival from 5 different locations. One of them was Bogotá with an amazing performance from @elombligomusica - a musical endeavor that playfully explores the subtle relationships within Cumbia and Vallenato music, old school jazz and free improvisation.
