Just finished this fabulous book by @oharaviolin.bsky.social an essential read for Dexys obsessives like myself . Not to mention Helen’s work with the great Tanita Tikaram

Now playing I’m not sure Scorsese’s The King of Comedy was afforded a UK theatrical cinema release . I do recall recording it when , in 1984 , Channel 4 gave it a late night showing . I was amazed to hear a Van Morrison cut new to me over the closing credits . Finally found the LP 18 months later
