When I said that I was shook yesterday by my polling place not letting us vote for 45 minutes, this is partially why. Im still angry. Even more angry when I see that my city had single digit turnout percentage for the mayoral race.

Is my math correct? Less than 5% of registered voters in New Haven turned out to vote for mayor yesterday? That’s a major sign of a dysfunctional democracy. I’ve tried multiple times to sign up for the mailing list for the DTC, and I have yet to receive a single email. That’s another one.
