Educating students includes teaching them how to interact with, support, and understand people who have different abilities, strengths, and needs than they have. All students receive a better education when inclusion is an expectation of schools.

I was both trained through these programs and had the privilege to train others through these programs. This is such a huge loss for states like Idaho that don't have the resources to provide the broad training necessary. Our criminal justice system is weaker for this loss.

Reading all these comments about how the American Bar Association should disbar lawyers and realizing that perhaps the rule of law is in trouble because most people have no idea how it works. The dismantling of civics education is what brought us here folks.

Those that stand for the rule of law may be narrowing, but those that will are fierce, principled, and determined. This is what it looks like to stand for something. This is what liberty and justice for all takes.

The term “due process” can sound like jargon, so when people use it consider replacing it with “factual accuracy.” The law says the govt can do certain things to people if certain facts exist. Requiring "due process" is how courts ensure that those facts actually exist.

I need more of this in my life right now. I need a break from this reality.
