As a NICU MSN, I am very scared that these Medicaid cuts are going to kill premature and sick newborns. The mother of a neonate in ICU is visited by a social worker to put her baby on Medicaid immediately after admit as the price for these long hospitalizations is astronomical. My heart is broken.
