Walked the dogs about half an hour ago, there was a partial paraselene visible but I hadn't got my phone on me! The spot to the left (north) was pretty good, a multi-coloured arc with a clear horizontal beam of light going north from its centre. The one to the right (south) quite weak unfortunately.

Found an old bottle of LifeVenture dry wash & used some on my hands...whoah! The smell immediately took me back to my early Greenland treks. A classic case of a smell powerfully invoking a very strong memory...not just visual but like I was back there...👍😯

Looks like the vast Arctic wilderness of #Greenland to me? 🤔 A place where you can hike for weeks and see no other human. You should try it, it's remakably satisfying to completely leave and forget about the shitty human-o-sphere for a while.🤷‍♂️

Could never articulate in one sentence why I love being in my favourite arctic place, summer or winter. There are too many aspects to it. I love spending time here in #Sisimiut before I head into the wilderness for several weeks... #Greenland
