My son today, with the infinite wisdom of an 11 year old, decided to let our adopted baby crow play with his shiny, cheap, metal ring. The bird promptly swallowed it, leading us to Dr. Google and all the horrific outcomes we should expect. Thankfully, after a few hours we found this gift. #crow

I’m off to Nakuru, Kenya tomorrow to introduce disc golf to 300 Ultimate Frisbee players at the national championships. Winners of the putting competition will get one of these Paul McBeth Foundation Kenya stamped discs. See everyone there on Saturday.

The Kenya Open 2025 is on Saturday, February 22. PDGA rule 806.01 Putting Area Any throw made from within 10 meters of the target (Circle 1)… is a putt. After having released a putt, the player must demonstrate full control of balance behind the marker disc before advancing toward the target.

With the Kenya Open 2025 tournament approaching, I want to encourage all my local players to focus on this important rule. Get into the habit of using a mini-marker, and keep your feet in the proper area when throwing. No cheating, or a fellow player can call you on a foot fault!

On February 22, 2025, I will be hosting the Kenya Open 2025 disc golf tournament at Rimpa Estates in Kenya. Only 200/- for residents of Africa, $40 for international players. If Kenya is on your bucket list, and disc golf is a passion, then please join us!
