I started to really get worried about prime 4 when they showed the trailer of the bike "open world" looking section and what i've been reading today has been so incredibly disappointing that my hype has evaporated

this is the most minute of good plays, but it was also the moment where that click happened in my brain and i was immediately able to recognize a situation and immediately capitalize, which is always a good sign of improvement Deadlock is fun.

It has been a decade, but i'm reminded why Tales of Xillia Imo the best tales game to date, the game's characters endear to you right away, the combat's free flow structure allows for so much creativity, and you're given Mystery and stakes right out the gate that make you wanna see more. GOAT Game

I saw a review for silksong that said that said something along the lines of "it embraces difficulty even at its own detriment" and while for the most part, i think that claim is false holy fucking shit remove Bilewater from the game. that was a miserable disgustingly bad irredeemable experience.

you know i really was looking forward to finishing 112% in hollow knight but now that i know to get the last percent i have to fight several of the game's hardest bosses back to back *just* to do a unique fight at the end, and every single one of my personally hated bosses is in that rush, big ugh

Nightmare King Grimm might legit be one of the best bosses i've ever fought that is also unforgiving as fuck Every single attack is dodgeable on reaction, and with enough practice. you can train yourself to do so 100% of the time. First boss in a LONG time i audibly popped off when beat.

Finished hollow knight genuinely i do get now why this game was lauded as one of, if not the best metroidvania of all time. while i don't agree with the best, this is definitely one of the tightest, well made game experiences i've ever played. definitely recommend and am looking forward to silksong

Oh hey i'm improving FFXIV records again. All Dungeons ShB feels better again after hammer stopped being a single target DPS loss. would've been cool if it didn't take an entire patch to fix that tho lmao

i'm starting to understand why hollow knight is so beloved. at the very least from the controls perspective. Its been a long time since i've played a game who's controls are so *tight.* As i've gotten better at the game its only become more apparent how responsive and satisfying they are.
