Canyon Falls in Michigan’s U.P. is one of the nicest hikes. You can hike the rim &/or climb down to the river at numerous points. It’s one of those delightful hikes through the woods and beside lots of gentle falls.

Not a photo of the sky. Not a photo of one of my fungi friends. Not my river. Just a pepper on my veggie tray. Sometimes we just need a tiny chuckle. Definitely going to do this again.

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep… The misty, foggy, moody mountain west coast rainforest in the midst of an atmospheric river.
