I was bamboozled last night by a recipe for corn sticks. Which was really cornbread in a stick shape that apparently has its own bakeware dish. I don't know what whipping several egg whites by hand did but im glad I had an empty mason jar to make it easier.

A neat idea ive been told by an artist is that they form their backgrounds first before putting the subject in. In that way you end up placing the subject ito it's environment instead of potentially locking out your options building a scene around the subject. Interesting idea.

I just realized I had purchased a 'vegan' yarn the other day. This is just acrylic yarn. So by labeling it vegan you have assured no animals were involved, but that doesn't necessarily make it better for the pollution footprint of the yarn. I find humor in this.
