Went to South Carolina last month as my Dad lived and passed away there. One of the best parts was meeting his five cats.

Enjoying this NYE night out but second year in a row that I've really noticed that I'm one of the older ones at the venue. I'm 32 💀

Things seem a bit crap right now. Everything was doing well a couple of weeks ago and then I'm told that my Dad has cancer. It's treatable and he should recover, but he lives in the US and although we haven't been really close for a while, all of a sudden I can't stop thinking about him.

Suppose I'm 32 then. Still trying to be young though!

After paying £5 for underpaid postage, I managed to get my certificate and rosette from @mattchorley.bsky.social and @bbc5live.bsky.social. I didn't think that my Grandma encouraging 8 year old me to walk up to Tony Blair and get his autograph would pay off all these years later.

Gone to a friend's event in Todmorden and getting tempted to move here. Gorgeous landscape, cheap property and close to Leeds and Manchester.
