New Hearthstone Italian localization report! Thanks Salvo for pointing that out for me 😊 Two minions (Boneshredder and the new Sawbones) have the same Italian name. We believe “Segaossa” is a name more fit for Sawbones, but that decision will be up to the developers.

A report from Salvo pointing out that the opening line of Suspect Maiev (from the Nathria Reward Track) has a mismatch between audio and text. The text reads “Tu non hai visto NULLA” but the audio says “Tu non hai visto NIENTE”.

Lots of interenting Hearthstone reveals yesterday, but we found 2 Italian cards we want to report. The first is the italian version of IMPFERNAL!, with a name that is too much similar to the 2019 spell Impferno. 1/

Report on the Hearthstone 35.4.2 Italian patchnote. Whenever the Battlegrounds minion Level is mentioned, it says “Mana” instead of “Level”. I saw that the same error is also in the English patchnote.

The week is coming to an end and we haven’t found any new localization errors. So we’re revisiting an old one! The Hunter spell 'Lock and Load' exists in two versions (GT and CoT), but even though the text is exactly the same, in italian the formatting is different.

This post isn’t about the usual italian Hearthstone localization errors, and it might actually be a sign that our work left some kind of mark. Emboldening Blade flavor text is just "Blade" in bold, but this joke gets lost in literal translations 1/2 🧵

We still need to conduct a thorough check of the last Hearthstone patch, but in the meantime, we can confirm that the formatting errors in Purifying Breath and Alexstrasza the Life-Binder have been fixed in 35.4! 🥳

After Patch 35.2.1, 4 cards have reverted to their original italian text from before they were nerfed without changing their mechanics. Using them now is very confusing 😅 The first is Hamuul, which now states that only 2 Spells are needed to Imbue, instead of 3. 1/4 🧵

Today, April 1st, many people are rightly enjoying the return of the “sorry” emote in Hearthstone. Unfortunately, once again, text and audio don't match in the Italian version. It really saddens me to have found this error with Saraad, one of my favorite characters 😢

New CATACLYSM italian localization report, and this is a rought one. Priest now can play the Cleansing Cleric minion that buff all healing, but the new mechanic is messing with the text formatting of new and old cards as well. It will be a headache to check everything 🥲

New CATACLYSM italian localization report: when Shadowed Informant text changes, the template is something that is never used in Hearthstone. The new text is "Discover a NAMECLASS type spell" instead of "Discover a NAMECLASS spell".

This report comes from Salvo: Soldier of Azshara (the token from the Demon Hunter Colossus) does not have text when on the field, while the text is present in the in-hand preview.

I want to thank @silentnick.bsky.social this report, because I totally missed 😅 The Italian text for Torch says “If there is excess damage, return this to your hand” meaning that it would always deal 8 damage after returning in hand. If that were true, it would be OP!

Yesterday all the remaining Italian CATACLYSM cards were revealed, and we found some cards that are worth mentioning. The first is Crystalspine Cub, which has two different names in the web gallery. 1/5 🧵

We noticed this a few days ago, but waited before posting. The Herald keyword has two different forms in Italian: “use Herald on Colossus” (marked in yellow) or “Herald Colossus” (marked in blue). We believe the second template is the best for Italian Hearthstone. 1/2

It seems that patch 34.6.2 did not bring any corrections to Hearthstone italian localization. Strangely, two cards were changed without removing their errors 😅 The first is Mrglin' Burglar, missing a "+" in the text, first reported last October. 1/2

Today's localization report is again about a card's name: in Italian, Tol'vir Carver has become Tol'vir Butcher. It's true that “to carve” also means to butcher, but both the artwork and the Tol'vir lore make it clear that the Italian name should be "Tol'vir Intagliatrice".

New report for CATACLYSM cards: Twisted Monstrosity Italian text means “As long as it remains in your hand, each turn this uses one of its two randombonus effects.” Not only does the text not match, and a space is missing, but it doesn't even make sense in Hearthstone 😅

Let's start CATACLYSM localization review! The Italian name for Chamber of Aspects means Room of Aspects, not very epic for what it represents in Warcraft lore. Luckily, in the italian version of the Well of Eternity novel I found another localization: Sala degli Aspetti.

A quick update from X (formerly Twitter). The Italian patch notes for Hearthstone 34.6 were not released at the same time as the English ones, and were released a short while ago with a delay of about 60 hours. We hope this was an isolated incident.

First post of 2026! Yogg-Saron’s Mythic skin has a mistranslation in Italian. The greeting emote says "I know you for your creations" instead of "I’ve known you since you were born". Sadly, voicelines errors are rarely fixed (see Whitemane's thanks), but let's be optimistic! 🤞

Last post before the holiday break is about Winter Veil greetings, which are very difficult to check due to limited availability. The text of Lady Hazelbark's greeting does not match the audio, and has been this way since at least Christmas 2023. See you in 2026!
