When I was a kid, the image of the Frankenstein Monster had permeated the culture on every level, which is something that's pretty remarkable on hindsight. I wanted to sketch out a super creepy, deformed looking version to get that part of my imagination rolling again!

As one might surmise, Halloween's never quite over in my brain, so here's Einstein bringing you everlasting seasonal cheer!

I had a dream in 2024 in which I was at a club where all in attendance were synthetic humans with layers of translucent skin that formed designs on their bodies.

The Agony Man Inspired by the writing William S. Burroughs, and the music of bands like Throbbing Gristle and SPK, he was an haunting apparition who emerged from my imagination way back in late 1987, in the form of some drawings and a sculptures. This is from my 2009 sketchbook.

My friend Kazuko Nakiri had been making miniature art gallery dioramas of her work and just did one with my stuff, and I'm blown away! It's a better pre-visualization of how I'd plan a future body of work than I could untangle from my brain, presently. Note the lighter for scale!

This was a significant Achievement Unlocked moment for me, having two Ultraman Kaiju-Bemular and Astromons, respectively- that I redesigned and sculpted featured in an issue of Hobby Japan. These were produced as vinyl figures by the company Acro in Japan for their 'Kaiju Remix Series'.
