Silent. Yoga. Calm.

Someone local bought some of my art and I took a short but enjoyable walk through the village to hand deliver it. I feel moved and energised by this simple transaction, a welcome respite from spinning out about the state of everything else.

Lots on at the moment so I'm restless and doodling. Enjoyed sketching with this water soluble brush pen last night while watching that new fan-made version of Alien 3.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks. All being well I'll soon have a new print celebrating the route taking in all three fells - just in time for this year's Three Peaks Fell race, where I'll be showing and selling my landscape silkscreen prints.

A while back a scientist friend hired me to draw some illustrations for his PhD. Just came across an alternate version of one of them - this is the Leeds University Parkinson Building. I worked a temp admin job here long ago and would sit on the big steps to have lunch.

Yesterday marked ten years since the release of Public Service Broadcasting's album The Race For Space. The cover art & logo was my first bit of work for the band and I had no idea at the time the degree to which it would shape my career.

Listening to Propagandhi. Getting the energy levels up to clean everything. Many years ago my good buddy Carl & I drove to see them at the legendary TJs in Newport. It was a great night. On the 4hr drive home Carl was struggling with tiredness. I was wide awake but I didn't know how to drive!
