Thinking about the timings of #thetraitors. They leave in dark, & then traitors come back. This is Inverness in summer, so very late. I'm guessing they start very late morning.

Doing a bit of family history. In 1920, gggrandparents were living in Newburgh, NY. Despite arriving around 1900, they had not got round to naturalising yet; he had papers in, she nothing. They were living with 2 families from Poland, at least 1 of which were Jewish as 1st language was Hebrew.

The cucumber had been stir-fried (with spring onion, noodles, garlic, ginger, chili, rice wine and soy sauce.)

Morning gym and shopping session mission accomplished. Although my body is complaining and the wallet is lighter.

I have escaped before part 3 of the day. I don't like games, and that was where the evening was headed. If it were the usual (at mum's not sisters)then I could have hidden in other room.

Post lunch, we have split into 2 groups. Some taking dog for a walk, others threatening to snooze. I'm in the snooze group.

Blackcurrent compote made (for the melon if wanted, if not will go in Eton mess). Cucumber pickled and prawn/mango salad done (to go with salmon parcels). Carrots chopped ready for roasting. Sorted chair, plates, cutlery and mixer to go. Nearly set.
