This morning walked from Sandsend to Kettleness. Pair of Red-legged Partridge, Yellow Wagtail over, large flocks of Linnet & Goldfinch in the clifftop fields along with several Yellowhammer. Peregrine, Kestrel, Sparrowhawk plus my first Pink-footed Geese of the autumn. #UKBirding #UKWildlife

At Castell Ddu 10 Greenshank were the only waders I could identify with the rest directly into the setting sun. A male and female Blackcap and resident Greenfinch flock were in the hedgerow whilst the rising tide brought with it a quartet of Little Grebe. #birdingWales #patchBirding

At Pembrey this eve I completed my Sabine’s Gull trilogy with distant views of the juvenile with a drooping wing. That’s three sightings across three counties in three days! Also 4/5 Wheatear, 12 Common Scoter, at least 10 Sandwich Tern and some dramatic weather. #birdingWales

Seawatch from Berry Head this afternoon between 14:00 and 17:00 was quiet but still saw 6 Balearic Shearwaters, 1 Arctic Skua, 1 Bonxie, 6 Sandwich Tern, 2 Guillemots, 1 Med Gull plus the usual Gannets and Kittiwakes. Distant pod of Common Dolphins too. #UKBirding
