Tarbosaurus attack Saurolophus

I think I have built the cast of Speckles using plushies! I was messing around with these images earlier, finally put them in order, and look… You have a Tarbosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Microraptor and a Rex! This is odd behavior even for me. I still feel like a God playing with toys… 2026 = strange!

I see we are receiving new Dino Media this year! But the presentation could use some work. All I got was: “Closeups of eyes” “Roaring, running and fighting” “Volcanoes and Asteroids” Would The Dinosaurs have chosen to be Streaming Exclusive? All our hard work and we don’t even get free Netflix!

Speckles: We tried to make dinosaurs cool again, we really did! But all the producers want is: “Roar, run and bite” “Roar, run and bite” “Roar, run and bite” A hatchling could do that! I guess time-travelling supersaurs and blowing up asteroids was a bit OTT. Next time we’ll be more grounded!

Would you look at that! New year, new #skircle, it’s like a whole new me! It’s great to see some familiar faces and snouts present. But, hey, us Dino Lords gotta stick together! As it is January, FanFiction is having the usual problems so I won’t be back there for a while. And, so begins 2026…

2025. What else can I say? We’ve lost; we’ve gained; we’re mad; we’re sane! We’ve had to bid farewell to so many loved ones. The year of death and letting go is over. The year of rebirth has now begun. The end of grief is acceptance. There is no other way. So we live to fight another day…

Due to recent events I felt compelled to make this image. I know it was very naughty of me and I’m sorry! It seems to me that Raptors and Tarbos have been at odds with each other forever. They just used me to bring their war into the Digital Age! I also reminds me of Team Dino’s Christmas Dinner!

Is it really six months since you left us Dad? Because it seems like a thousand years. I barely remember you; I barely remember myself. One thing I do know…There is nothing left on Earth to prove you even existed…except ME! That is my job now. Alas, peace in our time is beyond my abilities! WD.

Welcome to Humanity Park… A place where dinosaurs can view humans in their natural environments, and study them intensely to see what makes them tick! In light of recent events I have a question: This is supposed to be mankind’s most enlightened time. So what the hell went so terribly wrong?

It has been a while since I posted, now I have something new: For years I worked the Speckles Project without really knowing why? Now I do. Fear of loss. It is the biggest trigger there is. Family, friends, money, power, even life itself. So, tell me Planet Earth. What is it you fear to lose…?

In a desperate attempt to change the narrative in my mind, I began flooding it with images from my two great obsessions… Resident Evil and Silent Hill. Here are some of the oddities I still have left from the good old days. The internet has proved most useful for dissipating my random thoughts!

I was close to writing another tale called “Dino King Absolution”. But all it amounted to was Speckles and White Dino visiting the graves of their loved ones to pay their last respects. It seemed a bit bleak so I didn’t do through with it! Team Dino highly anticipate the “new look” FanFiction site!

White Dino: The scariest thing about my imagination? It is simply an amalgam of everyone else’s. I have told you nothing you did not already know! Time’s Arbiter: Some of our tales even contain lines of dialogue from Oscar winning movies. Consider that! Team Dino: Happy July 4th our fellow dinos!

I had the strangest dream: For some reason I had to type, “SAVE THE PLANET” into a laptop. A simple job as any. No matter how hard I tried I just couldn’t do it. I even lost the ability to type by the end. I’m no psychologist, but I bet I know that means! Come on humanity, you can save yourself!

Drone Warfare: Both sides attack each other using same tech. Both sides vow terrible retribution for attack. Both sides accuse each other of spreading propaganda. Both sides demand peace talks. Both sides claim peace talks failed. Both sides attack each other using same tech. Am I wrong? WD.

This is the whole of my Speckles/Dino King fanfiction writing project. If I had known it would drag on for nearly five years and end with the death of my actual dad, I might have done things differently! Team Dino are at last satisfied. Tea and biscuits for everybody! #SpecklesTheTarbosaurus.

Five years ago I experienced a complete emotional meltdown over a fictional death: Blue-Eyes. This year I went through something remarkably similar: The death of my real-life Dad. Now I wonder: Is this the point I send the Speckles Project back in time to help prepare myself for it? God knows!?

Speckles: Hey Cy. Do you think that really is it for the Speckles Project? Cy: Beats me Specks. All life is loss. You just adapt to it I guess? White Dino: Dad was a hoarder. Do you have any idea how much junk I’ve had to take to the tip! Time’s Arbiter: Guy liked his watches. We kept those!

In the aftermath of such personal tragedy, I was completely lost again. “What was this all for?” I cried. Then four days after my father died, the Pope died. 77/88. I took it as a sign: The old White Dino is dead. A new one has now been born. “And his power will be beyond even God’s control…”

And with that sombre note, now you know why I broke down so hard and wrote White Dino’s Darkest Hour. My last ditch attempt making peace with myself, my Dad, my God and my Inner-Dinosaur. I had already dedicated the Speckles Project to those who are no longer with us. Rest In Peace Dad. Team Dino.

VERY SAD NEWS I AM AFRAID. MY FATHER PASSED AWAY. A combination of heart and lung failure plus cancer and covid. He was 77 years of age. I will not deify him or tell you he was the greatest father that ever lived. He was simply my Dad and that is that. Only the dead know what lies behind the veil…

The fact is: We all got Covid! Picked it up from repeat visits to the same hospital for unrelated issues. Yes, you heard me. We had to go TO hospital to get Coronavirus! And moaning about it is SO 2020! Talk about an ancient foe comes out to play. And we had to pay for parking! Now we recover…

I don’t usually make serious posts but here it is… We had managed to avoid Covid for five years but it found us in the end. My father is in an isolation ward at the local hospital lousy with the stuff. We have no idea how long this lasts or what the outcome will be? Gratias tibi ago, Domine. WD.

I noticed recently that people are sharing their, “How lockdown changed my life” stories. I can’t disagree with that! Lockdown detoxed me from 20 years of smoking, drinking and social angst. But make no mistake…it was, “Finding Speckles” that altered the course of my existence. Team Dino thank you.

Post 20: I am at a loss. By now I have blathered on about my experiences on FanFiction, Twitter, Facebook, Discord and Bluesky. I’ve used up the internet! I could spend the next 4 years posting that Trump and Musk are, “Literally Hitler” but you guys have that covered! I am open to suggestions?

During my recent investigations I discovered a book that I never knew existed! The title translates as best as I can figure to: “Dinosaur Warrior: Legend of the Tiamat Continent.” Where you would find such a book is a mystery as I’m sure it can’t be purchased from Amazon! Anyway, I like the cover!

Angry? I’m not angry. You must be misinformed. I’m just a lonely Therizino, my job is to eat rocks, small tarbos and scare the kids. I also represent the Author’s current state of mind; nearly five years of 2020’s madness. I am ‘shocked’, ‘deeply concerned’, and as usual, ‘lessons must be learned!’

I don’t usually make political posts but what the HELL!? Chewing out Zelenskyy for not wearing a suit in the Oval Office. The guy’s at war. As is all mankind it seems? I said once that Boxing Humanity would have terrible consequences. Frankly, even One-Eye had never seen such bullshit before.

Alright my fellow dinos, I guess we are finally there. The Speckles Project is now fully on Earth. And for my sins…it appears to have made quite the impression! It is still a little rough around the edges, but what the heck. When I take all this into my next life I promise to be a better typist!
