So, I can consider my iOS app pretty much done for now. I’ll let it settle and see how it performs. If the reception is good, I will continue working on it. Meanwhile I have another project rolling. Too soon to give more details but it’s a saas this time. A simple web app.

I'm working on two iOS apps. One is using react-native with
expo.dev
, and the other is built with SwiftUI. Every time I need to make changes to the one built natively, I regret the decision I made to go with react for the other. Apple dev exp is just better.

I had to drop the iOS widget idea I had for my app. It was not easy with
Expo.dev
, and I would have to do a lot of manual work to get it deployed and lose access to my dear $eas command. Evan Bacon tells us how we can do it:
