Well, I watched Sleepaway Camp early 80s teen horror as last saw it as a wee lad in the 80s. It’s classic bad acting but most. We’re back then. Compelling to watch & I enjoyed it especially the twist at the end. I need to watch more wakey 89s horror

1984 was not only my favourite year 4 music but the greatest year. With the mega success of Wham! Culture Club, Duran Duran, Tears for Fears all who went on 2 conquer the USA. Madonna & Prince and many more. Year ended with both Wham! & Band Aid at the top of the chart. Perfect!

Love ‘Alma’s Not Normal’ S02 on BBC. I roared at the line from Alma’s mum about her own mum, “think she’d be too tired to be a c*nt”. Sadly, amongst the great humour is the truth about the sad state of our mental health services and after care support. Things need to improve & give us more Alma too!

Here’s my original copy of Band Aid purchase on 1st day of release in 1984 before they had time to put the photo on the back. When I realised there was a version with the photo I purchased that too. Even the label on tbe record is different #BandAid40
