A study by Carle et al. supported prior evidence that, when used together, the 11 items of the PCPCM measure represent primary care quality. This study also found that clinician-level PCPCM scores can be reliably analyzed with as few as 5 patient responses per clinician. ow.ly/NXGz50Y4ycq

In a recent MedScape survey, more than three quarters of clinicians graded the health of primary care as a C or lower.
