This was so good that I'm now buying the audiobook that the movie was adapted from. This made me fall in love with cinema again.

I think that last sentence could be applied to a decent chunk of Liverpool’s problems this season. And my heart goes out to them all. They have lost a hero, they have lost a friend. There’s only so much Slot can control once they’re on the pitch though.

The problems are the same problems we've had since October, a lack of fitness, both stamina & durability, and too small a squad to rotate around it. The only realistic way to navigate it is to sack off a lesser cup and play lower intensity football, but people moan that it's not peak Klopp.

The thing I really don't get is the fans that won't give the manager any slack, despite all the mitigation. If you won't make allowances for a manger that's literally won the league, something we've only done twice in 36 years, who do you make allowances for? #lfc
