The Rev. Dr. James “Jim” Stroud Aull passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026. He was called to teach at Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary. In 1979 he was elected secretary of the SC Synod LCA. In 1988, he was elected the first bishop of SC Synod ELCA.
