Next up the Serrano Salt: Very slow building, low heat - but it can definitely sneak up on you. Brighter and smokier than the Jalapeno, the sharp flavor profile is more pronounced. Not a salt for people who just want heat and no flavor. I would love to try this in cocoa or a salad. #HotSalts

First up, the Jalapeno Salt: Low heat, good flavor. Sweet and slightly vegetal. Very front-loaded, with almost no heat after the initial burst when it hits your tongue. I can see this particular salt being really good on most things that need a little oomph, like sandwiches or dips. #HotSalts
