Shuttle shuffles shipload after show-shattering shipload of separatists into switchbacks. (An interrogation chamber was down but Rise was operating normally otherwise.)

Refurbished props for Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage are awaiting installation. It’s hard to see from a phone pic but that’s Darla in the plastic bag in the back. The irony of this is not lost on me.

The telegraph at New Orleans Square station, which has been silent for months (years?), is once again tapping out the opening to Walt Disney’s dedication speech to Disneyland. The audio quality is excellent, too!

The Mickey graphics on Monorail Orange have seen better days. They’re either peeling or missing completely in places:

Lots of walls up in Downtown Disney these days. Besides all the ones on the Westside, Sunglass Hut, and the former Tortilla Jo’s, some just went up at Naples and were expanded/themed at the Lego store.

Napa Rose continues its refurbishment. All of the windows are frosted over, but there is progress to see as the patio has received a new trellis:

Sometime within the past week (?), Aunt Cass’ Cafe in San Fransokyo Square got purple chairs:

Walls are still up at Radiator Springs Racers, but vehicles are now testing. It is expected to reopen Friday, September 26.

Despite the CM at the exit telling me my Experience Pass isn’t good for Toy Story Mania, it actually is (and for most attractions in the parks. People should drop their glasses more often (not really))

Everyone was told to put away their phones while walking the track (as there is a rail on the floor) but here’s the loading area and exit with the work lights on. Note the times on the scoreboard.

I got stuck on Web Slingers for 30 minutes because someone tossed their 3-D glasses out the window and onto the track. Whoops!

For Monsters After Dark I waited 60 on a posted 75. Top left gantry still wasn’t loading. And does anyone else see the Groot face in this tree?

Trying Guardians again during the Lightning Lane gap. Remember, last return time is 1:00-2:00, and the next is 3:00-4:00. This time I waited 45 on a posted 55, but only because the top left gantry wasn’t being loaded. Bottom left operated as usual.

The effort to reduce dropped articles has expanded to Incredicoaster. Verbal announcements ant the station accompany this sign. #SignageSunday @jason.parkendium.com

My third ride it switched to Monsters After Dark while I was waiting. 30 minutes on a posted 60. At around 2:30 one of the front doors was pulled shut and loading paused for about 10 minutes. Also, I was loaded into Gantry 4 for all 3 rides, the odds of which are 1 in 216 (!)

Lined up 3 minutes before 2:00 and got “regular” Guardians. Unlike last year, they don’t clear the queue before switching to Monsters. My wait was 20 minutes this time. (Also, notice the neatly coiffed fur on the Vyloo)

Update: 15 minute actual wait. Gonna go again!

Fantasyland Theatre is now behind walls, and likely will be until Santa Claus arrives in November. Troubadour Tavern remains open during its normal hours.

Big Thunder Mountain, more like Bag Thunder Mountain. With summer storms in the forecast, the trains are covered while being refurbished.

Tiki Room got a LED upgrade, and the lighting looks great. But there’s something amiss. Do you see what I see?

Filming continues into the night. The extras we saw at the train station are now milling around at the opposite end of Main Street. And just check out all those cameras on the Walt and Mickey statue. It looks like a Circle-Vision shoot.

Well, I finally saw Walt Disney - A Magical Life. Walt looks far better in person than he does in pictures. There is still room for improvement, but I thought the show was impressive from a technical standpoint.

The grass atop Ray’s Berets is green again; however, the plants in the family plot at the Haunted Mansion are looking a little, well, dead:

The crane being used for the Avengers Campus expansion is huge and dominates the Cars Land skyline. Also, Mater lost his usual parking spot and can now be found at Fillmore’s.

The east platform of Main Street Station is closed for filming. Note the extras on the left of the second photo. Shortly after this, they loaded onto the station platform.

Filming activity has moved next to City Hall. The interior remains open. (Also, don’t think my air bag photo made my last post, oops)

Whaaat? The original Jack Wagner safety announcement has been restored to Matterhorn Bobsleds. Since 2004 or so, it said “Please remain seated with your seatbelt fastened” even after the new bobsleds with locking seatbelts were introduced. (Volume on)

Now there’s a helium-filled bag set up, and the crew has moved over by Pinocchio:

What looks like filming setup is happening in the queue for Storybookland (which is drained and scaffolded so I doubt they’ll be filming in there)

Indiana Jones had a 30 minute wait posted soon after opening…but due to the lack of Lightning Lane users it ended up taking half that.
