We had to stop and turn around the car for this one: my first Crested Caracara perched on a fence post along the highway. I got down in a ditch on the other side of the road and used the car as a blind as I got out my camera. 🪶

I spent a few weeks this last winter with American White Pelicans in Florida and had a blast. They are so huge and elegant as they fly. I took a bazillion photos. 🪶
