Once again Canada, is fighting the US Administration harder than the US Democratic party. An entire nation of Canadians are more locked in than a majority of America is. Someone tell America to get up off the freaking couch.

If you factor in that the US Admin is now mostly staffed with idiots who think they are smart you realize that everything they are doing is precisely in line with it. Stupid clings to Fascism like a fool standing under a tree during a lightning storm. Sure you feel safe, but you will get hit.

US Admin is thinking they can just get an easy "goal" on a country that is known to be one of the toughest "middle powers" on earth. Canada has this stupid magical ability to rise to meet a crisis then turn it an opportunity.

Once again the US Admin pushes their tariff plans to April. Is it because US economic data is now showing that the United States is very close to a stagflation event? Is it because the US has now stumbled into the very real post-election reality that their economy is being withered by fools.

Once they reach adulthood, due to their large size and often aggressive behaviour, Canada geese are rarely preyed on. Geese may seem unconcerned at perched bald eagles nearby, seemingly only reacting if the eagle is displaying active hunting behaviour.

After three weeks of listening to the insane babble from the US admin, we can now conclude that they have no clue what they are doing and are simply following the "how to end democracy" guidebook written by drain circling bootlicking morons. US economic data is signalling a complete economic stall.

There it is, a country by country tariff war. With a broad Tariff war with it's neighbours. Slow creeping sticky US inflation, a completely neutered Federal government incapable of responding to run-away issues and a US administration with nearly zero capability of being effective.

Think of it like this, I am an outside business and as that entity I'm looking to invest. One of the investments in front of me is a stable growth, less risk and supported by it's government. The other is the low growth, high risk and is prone to volatile mood swings. Who TF are you going to choose?

Once again, I'd like to state that the current US admins use of tariffs and whiplash is going to have the opposite effect on the US economy. Investors need stability and low-risk to be assured of monetary return. If you create this much perceived market instability you will tank your future FDI.

Trying to prevent inflationary creep by tariffing individual industrial sectors is a great way to hide the poison but not stop the pain. In fact we already tried this solution in 2017 and instead it simply brought domestic production in the US down by another 10%. He is in fact an idiot.

I'd just like to note that Canada has now decided to begin branching out away from US trade dominance to seek other opportunities in the Global Market, while increasing it's domestic inter-provincial trade. US administration just own-goaled on their own economy.

Did Trump blink today? Most likely. Does that mean he'll blink tomorrow? Who knows. Point is, Canada and Mexico pulled the US economy from going off a cliff. Right now, Canadians are unified and more importantly they are fired up. I've never seen chatter like this.

We built it that way on purpose, so that any threat of US imperialism and any outside threat of invasion would come at at the greatest risk. Take some time and talk to a Canadian. They are all masters of diplomatic relations. Years of living in a wintry biome has made them community driven.

I'd like to note that one of the many reasons why Canada integrating its economy with the United States was to prevent any sort of chicanery like this. US domination? You will end up crippling yourself. US annexation? You will choke on it. The Canadian economy is designed to be irreplaceable.

There is a very good chance that instead of manufacturing "returning to the US" instead it shifts completely to Canada and Mexico or overseas even more as the US dollar will rise so far out of reach due to tariff inflation that no company will be able to pay the costs.

Once again a reminder that a flat 25% tariff is going to do the opposite of what the current Administration wants and in fact will decimate production levels over time since investment groups need stable policy to build product chains.

Cheers to the fools in the US Administration. A trade war with three of your largest trading partners at all the same time. Are you ready to watch inflation in the U.S, like never before? Trump's administration is calculating something like 5-6%. I can say that it's much higher than that.

I'd like to note that if the United States engage in their trade war with other countries, it will not be pretty. Canada, Mexico and China have without any unity or cohesion decided that they will not agree. Canada in particular is fully willing to take the US economy with it as it goes down.

A big note on how the current US administrations economic policies will actually do the reverse of what is intended. The current myopic thinking is that by putting Tariff's in place it will force US companies to bring domestic production back to the United States.

After watching what has happened in the United States, I think it's firmly confirmed that the 1% has captured US Democracy and is now officially "mask" off reworking it towards an Oligarchy. The decades of wealthy people interfering in the Democratic process has created this.

Since the incoming US administration is licking it's lips over the threat of annexation of Canada. You don't have the military nor the infrastructure to maintain the type of control you are seeking. There's a reason why manifest destiny never manifested. Yes you'll occupy the Country.

I think it's interesting that this holiday season all of the billionaires have started to keep their yaps shut about how "bad" or "poor" the economy is. I would keep my mouth shut too if I was the reason why the "economy" is in fact in "recovery" and they were just gaslighting the public.
