So the night train adventure starts... Sidenote: that's what you get for traveling by night train to most conferences -> kids who also want to ride the night train. To be honest I am really looking forward to this adventure with the kids.

Some tools force you to learn a complicated API and require constant maintenance. Other tools... just work, and that's why it's easy to overlook them. @openfeature.dev is one of those tools. Do I use it daily? Yes. Do I ever have to think about it? No.

Time to recharge... Or something like that. My body does not feel recharged ;) Hiking for three days ~55 km and ~3500m elevation

My co-worker is exploring @openfeature.dev step-by-step as a preparation for #KubeCon - small regular increments to get to know OpenFeature, a good way to start exploring and understanding how you can benefit from the project ;)

Once again, I nerd sniped myself. But I had a lot of fun with maven, different java versions and GitHub Actions. Hopefully that is the first step to move away from target version 8 and we join the cool kids with Java 17 ;)

I often see developers make mistakes in their tutorials that trip up readers, so I thought a lot about what makes some tutorials effective and what makes others frustrating.

Connecting with old friends has become harder as interests shift. Tonight, I’m trying a men’s night with a building block set (Burg Blaustein by Bluebrixx), beer, and food. Maybe childhood toys and memories can help!
