Finally have some direction at work, 18 months after the acquisition. Some how I got every projected I wanted and get to dumb the responsibilities that shouldn’t have been mine in the first place. Along with all of my design choices and ideas being taken seriously for the first time at the new org.

BFC2026 idea, “let’s be friends” mixer. High level: I’m thinking speed dating but geared towards making friends. Everyone writes their badge number and telegram handle down on a parent sheet, give the kiddos a comically big card to write badge numbers for those they meet and we a get to yapping.

One of my favorite BFC highlights: a hotel front desk agent ran over to a coworker, lanyard covered in badges, and excitedly said, “Hey, this is the merit badge you wanted, right?!”

The pool party DJ set yesterday was so darn good. I was crying, so much joy at BFC. Truly life changing in the best way possible!

Packed for #BFC ! This is more than I’ve ever taken on a trip before, for reference I took the smaller blue suitcase and a backpack half the size of the one shown for a 2 week trip to Vietnam. Being a bab requires so much space! 🤣
