So, to change the subject. Since I'm killing a little time, let me post about my book once again. I wrote this story back in 2023, when Trump was gearing up his campaign. The book is 'Fugitives in a New United States". It's a story about the U.S. in the near future after Trump destroys democracy.

So, to continue the thread about free speech and social media algorithms, is anyone experiencing anything that looks like shadow banning of posts, or outright blocking from the Bluesky moderators? If so, what's being censored? I'm not afraid of the big bad wolf but I would like to know.

It's a lazy Saturday afternoon so, while I wait for the end of the day to finish my photography class homework (I need a little late afternoon fading light), I thought I would take a moment to test the algorithms here on free speech. I found a thread from the CEO trying to address that very thing.

Just a random thought. How valuable is a LinkedIn account for a writer? I'm semi-retired now and I had to recently scrub all references to my old IT career because the IT recruiters from south west Asia wouldn't leave me alone. Now, someone else has solicited me that may have been a scam.

I finally sat down and wrote another chapter for my latest book, The Camps. I'm at chapter 7 now, and I hope I can remain motivated to continue like this and get this story told. Maybe if I keep posting like this, I'll keep motivating myself and make the time to continue knocking out more chapters.

I'm having trouble getting motivated to write the next chapter in my latest book, sigh. I know I need to do it but I keep making excuses not to sit down. Maybe by posting this, I will finally find the motivation to sit down and get started. Tomorrow.
