Day 2 of our annual Winter Showcase is underway, and we’re starting with our first speaker, Michael Meier from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, speaking on the sustainable modification of cellulose to make it a viable thermoplastic. Another great day of science ahead!

Christine Paul (Cohort 9) recently attended ISMET9 in Leipzig 🇩🇪, where she delivered an oral presentation on her PhD research into bioelectrochemical recovery of platinum group metals using Cupriavidus metallidurans. ⚡🌍 #ISMET9 #PhDResearch #Bioelectrochemistry

CDT students Adeifeoluwa Jolaosho & William Balkwill-Western recently joined the NAMI battery group & CDT alumnus Ganesh Vailaya at the Faraday Institute Conf 2025. Nobel laureate Stanley Whittingham spoke, & Adeife + Will shared posters on their magnesium battery research. 🔋Nice work!
