Nakamura-kun 04: nice that we get Nakamura and Hirose's relationship progressing, could easily be a status quo gag that they would never get close. Nakamura hiding his interests shows how much he fears showing his true self and sexuality is part of it, glad this is being explored. Also Reiko is fun

Ponsuka 02: This episode won me over completely. They're already using the full cast to make each situation hilarious and chaotic and it worked wonderfully. Having more characters instead of the just the duo was the right move. Fun visuals and direction as well, a blast and full of heart.

I just wanted to see Yamal winning it all...

Kuranika 02: What is enjoyable about this show so far is how much the story is focused on showing the limits and preferences everyone has in regards to social interaction. It's not judging anyone, but going over everything in a sensible way. Characters and dialogue are strong and make it believable.

LuluttoLilly 02: It's selling the vibes strongly. Fuu's desire to do things and genuine curiosity is what is moving everyone in the story. The whole song is about turning the mundane into magical and this is her way to connect with her sister. Very intrigued with where they're going.

Shounen only people watching Yomi no Tsugai and saying Asa and Gabu are unforgivable because they killed the villagers. Same people love Vegeta.

Kanan-sama 02: Was already happy with the first episode quality for an ecchi in 2026, but epi 2 somehow was much better! They adapted the script into something that flows better and the direction was more creative with the gags, animation also was consistent with strong drawings. Great stuff.

Yowayowa Sensei 01: Yay, it's here. I keep up with the manga since almost debut and really enjoy it! Classic ecchi series, but Kamio's (she's the author) designs and art are super good. Anime is on the weaker side, but they kept Hiyori ~erokawa~ and some key aspects of the art style, so that's nice.

Ichijouma Mankitsu 01: Otaku otaku anime, it knows what it is and it's good to see that. Characters were likeable and the manga café gimmick with all the stuff for Kirara fans is nice. Seems to be more in line with Fruits Tart instead of the usual.

Chinashi's opening is the best pitch for Kamiina Botan, especially in its full & uncropped version. A series about college students mostly having a good time (and a good drink), framed with a handheld camera and so much preemptive nostalgia you feel like the cast ought to watch this many years later

The way characters move in Kamiina Botan is soothing in a way I can't properly explain. The expressions are so good.... everything is so good...

Kinda liked how the first episode of Awajima Hyakkei trusts you to get what it's about/how it's structured and goes for the main dish already.

Kanokari S5 01: People can say whatever they want about Kanokari, but few series are able to make a more compelling and scene stealing "villain" than Mami. Everytime she's on screen, there's an absurd sense of fear and twistedness. It's not a "so bad it's good", she's just truly good.

Marriagetoxin 01: The one thing this adaptation had to get right, more than action scenes or anything, is how crazy beautiful Kinosaki is. And they got it. So it's a 10/10 already. The action scenes are great as well by the way
