Kamiina Botan 08: This episode probably needs some rewatches, but it gave me a sense of "maturity" of the crossroads of life. Akane is looking for a direction, Gujo is working, Chin-lan's story and, of course, Botan and Ibuki's relationship. Young adults navigating a new world.

Sumipe in One Piece is cool because she deserves all the success. But it'll be slightly sad when people list her main roles and an One Piece side character gets mentioned before her other characters.....

Almost sure the lizard in Dragon Quest XII is the Dream World version of the Hero. He's tired because he's living two lives at the same time.

I quite like the ugly MC in Dragon Quest XII because it gives it some identity. The main issue I have with XI is how vanilla everything in it is, 11's Hero is so basic and the game tries too much to be a starting point instead of just being another entry. It's not bad, but glad we moved from it.

I played all mainline Dragon Quest games and liked all of them, but yet somehow I have very negative expectations for DQ12 because of all the stuff they said about it and the current industry. lol Edgy Dragon Quest with morality systems sounds almost opposite of what makes it a good series.

Complaints about gameplay are overblown because most high budget games have boring gameplay and no one calls it out. Furyu games are conceptually interesting, something most can't say. I appreciate how they feel connected to otaku culture instead of running from it like many devs do.

Starlight Gakuen should be at least top 3. I also nominate the Blue Reflection Second Light school.

LuluttoLilly 08: Neat concept having the sisters asking for opposite wishes without knowing about the other. Fuu chases a world of freedom and maturity, meanwhile Rui suffers because she feels isolated from common life. As Fuu sings the song they made together, they're still far from each other.

Digimon Beatbreak 32: Tying the whole story line to coffee and rain and using them for framing/scene transitions gave that cool mature feeling this episode aimed for. And also wrapped up in a warm way that fits coffee as a framing device. Under the rain, there's a cozy place for everyone.

Needy Girl Overdose 08: So Michica was the character still left with more doubts after her episode and it makes sense she's who crashes under the pressure of challenging god. The Karamazov references are more clear now. Apparently, she's Ivan, fated to lose herself. But is fate really set?
