Esther Bentley was a life- long Catholic, a social worker and a fighter for civil rights. She was also a life-long lesbian.

We will never forget the beacon of light for lgbtq students that came from Dr. Virginia Uribe’s Project 10. It all started in 1984. It gave hope to lgbtq youth who even just heard about it around the country.
