Amid all the drama, I’ve completely overlooked Bearman who is doing a sensational job. Huge task to hold onto P3, but he’s on for a fantastic result.

Turn 3 seems particularly egregious. Hamilton was up the inside and had almost completed the move, but Verstappen simply used the grass to stay ahead. Doesn’t feel right that one gets penalised and the other doesn’t.

Still trying to get my head around the start chaos in Mexico. Hamilton deserved a penalty for overtaking off track, but I can’t understand why Verstappen’s moves at T1 and T3 are considered fine. Some of these racing rules really need a rethink.

Smart move. Great to see an American IndyCar talent take the risk for a shot at F1. Excited to see how he gets on next year.
