On Thursday afternoon, the NPA Technical Theatre candidates travelled to @rcsofficial.bsky.social to watch the play ‘Let the Right One In’ to analyse the technical elements of a performance as part of the course.

Tonight we welcomed P7s during their transition information evening as they prepare to start at Trinity next year. A phenomenal turnout today for Hansel & Gretel auditions. Over 40 pupils from S1-6 showcased their confidence & talents in acting & singing! A big thanks also has to go to our S6 Performing Arts Ambassadors who kept the evening running so smoothly & with a kind word for the new S1 attendees!

The S4 National Drama class have successfully completed their Drama Skills & Production Skills performances. Each pupil was responsible for devising, writing, directing, acting and designing a collaborative piece of drama. The outcome of which was very successful and enjoyable to watch! 🤩

Mr B’s Drama class 1IC had an atmospheric game of Wink Murder on Thursday, the tension was building as they learned about the impact of eye contact! 👀 🎭

We had a fantastic time meeting S1 at the Extra-Curricular Fayre last week! There are plenty of clubs available for you to join in Music and Drama so be sure to ask your teacher for more info! Many thanks to our fantastic S5/6 assistants!

We want to wish the best of luck to four S5 & S6 pupils who have enrolled in the RCS’s Short Courses & Junior Conservatoire. Their specialist skills range from Production to Musical Theatre & will gain them a valuable insight into the performing arts world of work. Have a great year ahead!!

A selection of Trinity vocalists attended the SLC IMS Vocal Day today and collaborated with pupils from other SLC secondaries to present a wonderful ensemble this afternoon. A beautiful performance to end a very enjoyable day. 🎶🎵🎤

25 pupils from S4-S6 enjoyed the @rcsofficial.bsky.social Junior Stage & Screen Open Day today. They experienced their chosen artform by collaborating with others & following workshops lead by professionals in their field of work. A great day had by all!

Due to the Solemnity of Our Lady’s Assumption into Heaven being at the start of term, Friday 15th August and due to the availability of priests, we will provide one Mass in school for S2 pupils. We recognise that this restricts the number of pupils and staff who can attend Mass during the School-Day

We are really looking forward to welcoming our young people back on Thursday 14th August at 8.45am in full school uniform. 😊
