I think this is the first time ever that I have not upgraded my iPhone OS, forced myself to upgrade the iPad and am only running macOS 26 on extra partition instead of upgrading. Still hate glass usability Apple!

My tip of the day if you are upgrading to macOS 26. Consider creating a new APFS partition and installing it on there first to check everything you need works right. Maybe clone existing OS over to it and upgrade just in case.

OK so who's diving in the deep end today with all the Apple OS 26 releases? I'll probably update the iPad since I've been running the beta versions but macOS is still ugly IMO

OK I see that we now have access to add Claude to Xcode 26 RC but do we know when/if Claude code addition is coming? It looks like it's straight Sonnet right now?

I'm having one of those "Keep coding and believe it will work when you have finished" moments.

Keeping up with tradition, I have successfully not done anything I planned for the long-weekend. But this afternoon I'll do my best to catch up in the remaining hours.

It's amusing that the "smart" bulbs in my office at home are so representative of the problem I'm facing these days with tech. When they go wrong, they are a massive pain in the butt to fix. So today I just took them all out and went with dumb bulbs, problem solved! I'm starting to favor dumb things

Wouldn't it be great if big tech companies said "Instead of buying our slightly updated stuff this year, send some money to a charity"

Liquid Glass feels better in the latest round of Apple OS beta releases, but it still feels far from RC let alone production ready.

Follow up on my comment about unity asset store. It took starting the refund process in PayPal to finally get action in a couple of hours after starting it. still no communication from Unity but they fixed it. Bad customer service experience

Unity Asset Store support is really slow. I paid for 3 asssets yesterday around $100 and it screwed up and charged me but did not add them to my account…still waiting for first reply
