Puck was supposed to get adopted today. He had a bath and got all cleaned up for his big day. The family backed out of the adoption just before they were supposed to come get him 😭 Cont.

Took a quick weekend getaway to catch a concert with my friend. My cup is full & im heading home today to smooch my dogs!! The podium pups have been in great hands, it’s been good for them to form a new connection & have another person in charge of their care. Can’t wait to see those lil stinkers!

no field trip today so the camp carter socialization team clocked in for some important work

this week has been field trip bonanza. This morning we visited a cabinet company to give the staff puppy love. I really liked this visit for the pups because it was brief, but fun! They got to play & snuggle & explore & then we went back to camp carter. They’ve grown in confidence SO much this week!

yesterday’s podium pup field trip was to visit the staff of an area hospital’s cancer center. These folks are amazing and definitely need some puppy love. We set up in their loading dock area, and it was a busy morning with lots of deliveries - and lots of noises! Cont.

the podium pups had their camp carter rite of passage yesterday - a field trip to visit my friends at the assisted living home. They were so incredibly calm, snuggly, gentle, and quiet. The absolute joy and laughter they bring to the residents is the best part.

I stayed up past curfew. This displeases the boss.

My friend stopped by this morning with her sister & her toddler to visit the podium pups! The pups were a bit unsure about strangers at first & wanted to huddle in my lap, but by the end of their visit they were wagging their tails & playing. Socialization during these early weeks is so important!!
