Gritting my teeth and repeating "Writers' block isn't real; it can't hurt me" while I stare at a blank word processor document.

It's hard to be motivated on longer #writing projects when I can't show people anything. I also won't be able to show anyone a finished work once I'm done, since I'm working on a backlog of comic scripts so I don't need to worry about my artist while I write other stuff. How do you guys keep going?

The obsession with "mythological accuracy" to classical sources is literally erasing millennia of cultural history. Greek mythology and Roman mythology are parts of our folklore tradition. We should feel comfortable talking about them as such!

I've hit a part of my outlining that I just don't want to do. I wish being a writer were just the parts I like.

I don't think I can write short stories anymore. People don't read them, and maybe that's a problem on my part, but I think they just aren't popular. I write to communicate, and I'm not communicating. Maybe I'll swap my short fiction to audio instead and release an anthology podcast. #writing

Unfortunately, I'm going to cancel "The Last Great Fairy Kingdom". It was a good idea, a fun idea, but my time is limited since getting married, and I want to be sure I'm only putting out good quality work. For those of you who enjoyed that, stay tuned! I'll have more poetry to share soon.
