The latest update to Safari on macOS Sequoia is utterly broken. Does anybody know how I can fix this? Everything is slow. Even scrolling is juddery. Changing tabs is like sifting through molasses.

iOS 26 has been such a nightmare to work with, even for websites and web apps. I cannot tell you how many hours I have spent with clients whose websites are going to be affected in major and minor ways by Apple's design changes to Safari.

I recently had to redesign part of a web app to accommodate iOS 26. It was challenging because it's a *web* app. Whatever redesign I make will end up on every platform. So just adopting Liquid Glass wasn't an option. I wrote a short case study about what the fix:
