Score one for truth. Alan Spears of the National Parks Conservation Association, one of the organizations that brought the lawsuit, said "National parks belong to the American people and censorship of any kind goes against the values these places represent." Courage and resistance work.

Tech companies pay for bug reports. Public institutions mob the people who file them. The difference isn't culture. It's the setpoint. Tech companies need their product to function. Institutions need to appear to function. Different targets produce different loops.
