Went to my first union meeting last night. 7 in attendance and not many more than that in total members for my, fairly large and widespread, workplace. No wonder battling for higher pay is so hard.

The general public are losing the ability to read or comprehend. Gems from today "i haven't bothered reading [explaining document] can you explain [thing]?" "I dont get what to put on this form, it says the same thing over and over" - form says very different things in each section.

Recording chord melody/solo guitar is so stressful, it's either one take and perfect or 100 takes and awful. No rhyme or reasons to it either, some super strong songs end up taking forever to get a decent take on!

The Messthetics were amazing last night in Birmingham. Seeing half of Fugazi rip some groovy jazz fusion was immense. Most of the crowd being there for the jazz element and not for the Fugazi element was pretty nifty too.
