Walking in the Tuscan countryside, my shoelace came undone. Skipped a curb to tie it, thinking, “I'll sit at that bench ahead.” Two elderly folks beat me to it. I tied it standing by the road. Lesson: Take the chance when it comes. Later might be too late.
