Like all attempts at periodization, labeling art as "contemporary" gets... complicated. Can a dead artist be contemporary? How recently does a piece have to have been produced to be contemporary? Any hard line invites exceptions #ConArtInSitu

The MCA Denver building is a work of art in itself. I mean, architecture is always a kind of art, but the MCA building is as much a part of the museum experience as the exhibits #ConArtInSitu

I rode the E line to MCA Denver today, and it's remarkable how much riding a train improves my mood. Probably something to do with not having to navigate the Fury Road that is Denver's road network :P

What is art? Anything people call art. It's just like calling something "sci-fi" or "action-adventure", which is to say, it's a way of inviting a particular kind of engagement #ConArtInSitu
