Diablo 4 is a comfort game for me, but I haven't played in over a year. Lord of hatred is calling to me, but the idea of learning all the new stuff doesn't feel all that comfortable the more I read. I just want to kill mobs

That's Credits on Crimson Desert. A fantastic experience held back by some weird design choices. Many of these were fixed through updates while some more foundational issues remain. One of my two favorite games so far this year. A-

Even though the Sharks didn't make the NHL playoffs, just having them be relevant again has reenergized my affection for the game! The Habs win last night was electric and I am loving the playoffs this year but haven't settled on a team to root for yet. Any fans with suggestions?

Am I the only person who thinks $100 for the new Steam controller isn't too bad? I have spent $200 on a few controllers, including Xbox Elite's that broke far too quickly. It has the functionality of more expensive units, and if it is well made, they can take my money anytime.

Crimson Desert gets weird at times

Best laid plane of mice and men... I left my computer on for updating while driving my wife to work(2 hour round trip). I get home, boot up Crimson Desert and start checking out the update. & NOTHING had changed? My Internet dropped out this morning and I had to reboot my router/modem.

Dealing with Farmers insurance today has got me so frazzled I tried to Alt tab out of my pin input trying to start my computer

DOGFIGHT TO THE END!! This challenge in Wreckfest 2 has been like an albatross hanging on an old sailor. I wasn't even trying to beat it, just waste a few minutes before bed. Not what one would call textbook racing, but grinding fenders on a dirt track is hardly by the book to start with.

FUCK THIS GUY and his Antumbra buddies. Easily the toughest bosses I have dealt with in Crimson Desert. The number of Palmer pills spent is embarrassing. Now I find out there is a Archon of Antumbra who is even worse, supposedly harder than the final boss. I will take this win for now.

Sharks probably won't make the playoffs this year(that's OK), but at least they beat the Predators for the first time since 2019. They aren't ready for a Stanley Cup run yet, but the future is bright for this young team and their sophomore superstar!
