I've been itching to learn how to sew. Last night my fiance taught me to sew buttons so I could spruce up these thrifted Brunello trousers (maybe the best vintage deal I've found because they're basically in perfect condition except the now-fixed Brunello-branded buttons)!

I'm sort of obsessed with their "overdye" which is regular raw indigo double-dipped in black dye for looking extra cool

Denim on denim!! Such a sick cropped type 2 jacket from Japanese streetwear brand "Neighborhood." Distressing on it is really nice and it's the softest denim I've ever felt. Naturally it was hella $$ so I did not cop.... Not today.....

For people like me who enjoy reading AND writing... Have you ever read a book that makes you feel like actually you aren't cut out to be a writer because you could never write something so good? That's how the beginning of "Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell" by Susanna Clarke has made me feel.

Crazy how many stories I've been hearing from other South Asians who were bullied about "curry" smells growing up. Jokes on the elementary school bullies though because, in many Indian regions/families, "curry" has no meaning as it's a British bastardization. I had no idea what it meant growing up!!
