It is all but confirmed that Brittany and Nelle are related in some form, likely cousins. Their connection actually makes Brittany’s name fit the Pikmin 4 naming scheme, as put together Brittany and Nelle make reference to Brittany Spaniels.

Pikmin 3 has an unused object labeled as “test_item_1”. It is a large, pill-shaped capsule with Louie inside, not wearing his helmet. If this was ever meant to be used in the final game, it’s possible it may have been some early model of an escape pod you’d have to recover to save Louie.

3 of The Ship™️’s parts have Poko values tied to them. Assuming similar costs for the other two, these 5 parts alone are worth over 3,000 Pokos; about a third of the Pikmin 2’s entire 10,000 Poko debt. This shows that the completed Ship™️ is incredibly valuable, yet the still refused to sell it.
