Since 2009, Pennsylvania's minimum wage has been kept as low as possible -- $7.25/hour. In 2026, no one can live on that. Multiple times, PA House Democrats voted to raise it to $15 per hour and tie it to inflation thereafter - Like we did yesterday. Will GOP State Senate leaders block it again?

Today, House Resolution 394, "Designating March 17, 2026, as Bayard Rustin Day in Pennsylvania," passed the PA House with overwhelming bipartisan support.

Data centers represent rising electricity costs for entire communities in Pennsylvania. This is unacceptable during a time of already rising costs for gas, groceries, housing, and utilities. That's why I voted YES on the Data Center Act which passed the PA House yesterday.

Yesterday, I voted YES to increase Pennsylvania's minimum wage - to $11/hr in 2027; $13/hr in 2028; and $15/hr in 2029. In a time of rising costs across the board, it's far beyond the time to pay working Pennsylvanians a living wage.
